Average academy voters skew towards older folks, so yes, they probably do. Also, movie folks generally tend to like physical media, regardless of their age.

Oh man, that's just making me think about how "Hundreds of Beavers" didn't qualify for independent awards because they didn't have the budget to pay for the special screener apps. The film was only available online and via the library app, but since that wasn't the official app they got shut out..

I know! Really sad. They were like We had no idea that 10s of thousands of dollars is expected to be paid for the screener service, we just thought we had to be available.
