Looking at this from the disability perspective and it's obvious that Medicaid cuts will affect services for people with behavioral health issues, increasing the likelihood of mental distress and thus police interactions. Bad all around!

For context, some local law enforcement orgs have in the past advocated for Medicaid expansion, but now that health care in on the actual chopping block by their favorite president, they suddenly have nothing to say!

My point is that when law enforcement tells people they are cooperating with ICE to "get rid of bad guys," you should not believe them. Because why would they suddenly care about public safety when they plainly do not.
