Drumpf is moron you know, he is the one complaining saying they paid a lot to Ukraine which is also a lie. The dude is just the definition of a fat liar across the board. It's nuts any sane human believes that prick.
In that case, you should also look at, what it is. The US contributed with a lot of old things from stocks. We have invested quiet heavily in the arms industry in Ukraine.
Besides you should then count EU as one - giving significantly more than the US.
I will point out that if Trump's BFF Putin wasn't the cause of soaking up about 0.4% of Canada's GDP in support of Ukraine, Canada would have a better chance of meeting its 2% GDP in military spending.
He'd rather stab Canada in the back, then blame Canada for bleeding on the floor. What an idiot.
Honestly, if Yoon Seok-yeol and the First Lady had donated the money they spent overseas (whenever there was controversy over their wrongdoings), Korea's ranking would have been much higher. As a Korean, I'm really ashamed.
Controversy over the wife of the Korean president
Fake resume, thesis controversy.
Corruption, bribery.
Political intervention with shamans.
Controversy over frequent overseas visits and travel, luxury purchases.
Etc.
And also where told by Vance in his effort to occupy Grenland, that Denmark are bad allies, even we stood shoulder to shoulder with the US, taking casualties in the harshest places in Afghanistan, that was really hurtfull and mean to the danish veterans, and the families missing sons and daughters
1) Some of the largest contributors in the graph have relatively small economies. For instance, Estonia’s GDP is $44 billion (vs Wyoming’s $49 billion). 2% of a small number is a very small number).
2) Italy, France, Germany, and UK should be helping Ukraine much more.
I was often accused of having Trump Derangement Syndrome, but I didn’t see this happening so quickly. I can’t believe the press are seriously talking about how the Democrats are going to win the Midterms. The only way I can see this ending is civil war.
It's such an objectively stupid deal for Ukraine. I'm surprised they haven't yet publicly said they have zero interest in a US Peace plan that is essentially a surrender plan for Ukraine.
This is like when Trump cut Afghan leadership out of negotiations and negotiated directly with the Taliban.
The table excludes assistance by EU members through the EU, which is considerable. Also French and Finnish assistance is underestimated due to secrecy clauses. In total EU27 has contributed 50% more than the US
I looked at the GDP % and then asked how much that is based on 100% GDP for the country: UK and USA are about the same % but the totals are spectacularly different: £12bn and $150bn if memory serves.
Ukraine needs to just ignore America under Trump. They bring nothing to the table. They need to look to Europe and Europe needs to understand that under Trump, the US isn't much different from Russia or China, and they need to beef up their own military and start removing American bases from Europe
Based on size of economies, Germany is the worst culprit.
Germany's refusal to send 'Taurus' missiles to Ukraine had been ongoing issue for nearly a year

My point is that large % contributions from relatively small economies are not enough.
Increased contributions from larger economies are needed to move the needle in this war.

Yet in 1994, the west convinced Ukraine to #disarm - in return for #security & #sovereignty.
Now, #Trump is siding with #Putin. This is the worst #betrayal in recent geopolitical history
Is there another chart organised by amount?
Germany's refusal to send 'Taurus' missiles to Ukraine had been ongoing issue for nearly a year
Germany's economy was decimated.
