F*** Putin and his Kremlin lackies. NATO should just move its troops into Ukraine to support the Ukrainians now. The very moment the Russian forces see NATO troops coming across the border they'll cut and run. They haven't got the resources to take on the might of NATO.

Putin has shown repeatedly that he doesnt stick with any negotiated terms. Regardless of what he agrees to at the moment. He just waits until the international community shifts focus and then carries on. The Minsk agreement in 2014 for Donbas shows this and the same with Georgia in 2008.

What Trump's admin apparently fail to understand is that Russia will always have it's own interests above any other nations, especially Western ones. Regardless of how much Trump tries to kiss up, Putin will never regard him as anything more than a temporary puppet to use for Russia's benefit.

There's far too much history of Russian hatred towards Western nations for that to just be dissolved with ONE US leader. Trump will never hold control over Russian decisions and actions. They may allow him to entertain the idea, but if he mentions it publicly, they'll correct that.

This is what we saw last week with the Kremlin's announcement that it would NOT be following with the agreement regarding Ukraine as Trump had claimed to the media. Russia have little tolerance for ANY other nation appearing to have influence/control over them.

Entirely expected. Russia began with maximalist demands (Crimea plus all 4 partially occupied oblasts), and as soon as this Admin indicated a willingness to negotiate - went and increased their demands. I always direct people to this video to understand Russian negotiations:
