i do sketches in procreate, adjust where necessary, then print and transfer onto hot press paper. a common barrier i run into is not having enough space in my current home to hold sketchbooks and papers (honestly most supplies are in a dilapidated cardboard box and i paint at my work desk)
paint at my work desk = holding a drawing board against the edge of my desk to ink and paint lol
not ideal and my back hurts lol but that's how it is for now. when we get a new place, hopefully larger, i'm getting my damn drawing desk and *good* paper storage again.
Ah fuck it, here's the rest of my view lol (left to right: Wolfskulljack print, Boris poster, SUNN O))) poster (that was a great show), print by Richard Friend, and a piece by my coworker Vlad. The small obscured frame is a drawing of the devil. This space keeps me inspired.)
Love seeing the process even if the desk setup is not ideal. I think it is easy to get caught up in not having an aesthetic art video room but a good reminder that creation ain't always sleek and clean lol. My 8' table is COVERED in random bullshit rn and has been for 3-4 months
Right? I adore it. Genuinely my fav thing abt having wall space is finally getting my framed shit on the wall. I have both my Ghost posters on either side of my wall organization thing and its so satisfying!

Framed stuff is usually hung up to keep it safe. I have a small corner on my wall for that.
Idk why I'm sharing this tbh. I get a little embarassed seeing folks' clean set ups but also, I make the space I'm given work somehow.
Just want to say I find the drawing endeering . I made a funny.
I hope you have been healing alright, been thinking about you! 🖤
