Developing alcohol tolerance doesn't mean someone is unaffected by alcohol, it just means they have learned to compensate for it. Compensation doesn't mean all your senses and brain are working correctly.

Exactly! And at some point, the tolerance reverses. Then it takes very little to get drunk because your liver has decided to check out. My dad was a lifelong alcoholic and by the end of 40 years of alcoholism, he couldn’t even drink anymore.

You and I both know Pete is not remotely equipped to handle that job. I read Mark Esper’s book, which was very detailed. There’s no way Pete has the brain cells or experience to do it.
