The 74 plus million of us who voted for her…in no way, shape, or form…”failed her.” That’s raggedy ass thinking based on nothing but tangled nonsense to attempt to prop up a bullshit narrative. 4/4
Thank you.
I keep thinking that it's my fault because I didn't work hard enough.
I only called voters 2 hours a day. What if I could have made calls for 6 hours a day?
You’re welcome. No, most Americans have lives that consume MASSIVE amounts of time each day. Jobs, kids, grandkids, doctors appointments….on and on and on.
It’s easier for influencers such as myself who are online all day to say, “Get out there…knock on doors etc.”

Many assume because they have all day for those things, everyone does too. Clearly, that’s not the case.
You voted. That’s the pinnacle of participating in the civic duty of supporting democracy. If you did ANYTHING beyond that…you went above and beyond!2/2
Thank you. That's very kind.
The propaganda we fought against during the 2024 election was a mountain I just wasn't prepared to climb.
I converted 23 GOP members to vote Democrat, and those people each have families and friends.
Wow Melody good for you!👏👏👏
I hand wrote & mailed postcards to 200 Moms
As a Mom of 3 & grandmother of 5 I wanted to reach out to people to whom I related
It’s a shame that millions of voters decided to disregard the sacrifices for which our brave men & women fought by not voting
I texted and wrote letters. Texted for NAACP and letters for Sierra Club. I felt the same way, could I have done more? That said, I blame the close to 90 million eligible voters who sat out the election.
Absolutely. Getting tired of people saying "on line doesn't matter" when we have ONE guy that can tank the Dow at any time or piss off the whole globe with ONE tweet.
Yes, online matters. Words matter.
Sometimes handling real life means you do the posts, even while you're resting from real life.
We worked w/the cards we were dealt. They failed us, we didn't fail them. That night we all watched the 1st presidential debate, started this predicament we were given in 2023. It should have never happened. Something is terribly wrong w/the Democrat Party.
Most of America doesn’t watch debates. If you think the debate performance was more of a factor than the misogynistic racism that caused people to vote for a sociopath, you’re sadly mistaken.
I don't know about MEGA but all my blue folks (in my red state) watched. They hyped it up that he was going to knock him out. It was gut wretching to watch. I also believe no one switched votes, we would have voted for anyone besides Trump. We would walk over glass, barefoot to make our vote count.
Precisely. I get way more criticism from accounts that should be allies than from MAGAts.
If we were playing tug of war, the GOP side is all pulling towards fascism and the other side is pulling every which way.
Musk is the type of alien invader I thought would solidify us, but we still squabbling.
It’s not your fault, it’s theirs because they couldn’t turn off their collective video games long enough to get their asses off of their couch! They failed their “Call Of Duty24” big time and led us instead to “GTA2”, which now means “Got Trump Again for the second time”!!!
In thinking about the election, I also thought maybe I should have written far more post cards than 300 and I should have done other volunteer work. I thought I tried my best while working and taking care of my family. The blame should solely on the third party voters and non voters.
Oh, it’s a complete bullshit. We killed ourselves on campaign. And we never had a better time in our lives. I always would rather go down swinging. And we had a slugger as a candidate.
We failed to convince low information, low intellect, and low attention span voters to vote for her. If we don’t acknowledge that, we will not do any better in the future.
You would have to reach out, take these knuckle draggers by the hand and physically take them to be registered and lead them to the polls and push them in the door. It isn't a video game with naked women, big guns and violence to attack their piss poor attention!
Thank You For This.
I Took One Daughter To Vote & Watched My Other Daughter Who's An RN Fill Out Her Main-In Ballot & Drove Her To The Post Office! We Mailed 200 Postcards and Created A Group Text For 20 Branches Of The Family To Make Certain Everyone Voted. 80 Of Us Voted For Harris. 5 for Felon.
Well, we too could have simply pointed out Trump's tariffs caused the inflation and Trump's deportation of farm workers caused the high food prices. It would have been a simple message. But we didn't.
To clarify, you held signs up that said, "Trump's tariffs and deportation of farm workers during his first term caused inflation and food prices to skyrocket"?
Did she actually SAY that the CURRENT inflation and high food prices (that everyone is worried about) were being caused by Trump's tariffs and deportations? It would have been a very simple message but it wasn't said.
It is the media who tries to minimize the truth, and now everyone talks like that. From where i am sitting, all the eligible voters who voted for Trump or didn't vote at all are the ones who let America down
I used to think you were smart. Now I know you're another misogynistic smart-ass. YOU have NO CLUE what Kamala went through or what she is doing. Just because it's not what you want. Ef you. You've lost my eyeballs and respect for dragging her.
Woman here. He was in no way dragging Kamala. He was a big supporter. Not sure what you're referring to... He was just saying that as someone who championed for her, he doesn't like getting lumped in with those who didn't. I feel the same way.
I'm not sure what he said that was misogynistic. He stated the people who didn't vote for her failed her. The people who voted for her didn't fail her. I agree with him.
He is trashing her for not taking a public leadership position now. 1) He has no clue what she is doing.
2) It's typical misogynistic response, though perhaps unconscious bias, to trash women for circumstances men are never berated for. How about all the male "leaders?" Learn about unconscious bias.
Put your efforts into resistance of this administration instead of fighting fellow resistors. The past is over, can't change it but we can work for a better future.
They need them and enjoy them but they don't understand them until it is too late. Take for example the crowd during a meeting with Bernie Sanders on Fox news saying they wanted universal health care. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jthr_9gIkKo
Exactly. Nearly a third of registered voters didn't vote in the 2024 election. They are the reason we're here now, and they are the ones who failed us. The MAGAts were a lost cause.
I vote not only for her. I vote against all anti labor candidates. And I vote against all judges, local representatives, board members, and commissioners who align themselves with red hat wearing MAGA Nazis. I see failure is at the local level, when there are zero alternative candidates.
No disagreement here but I'd add this as #5: If you're a registered Democrat and didn't even vote then yes, you failed her and everyone in this country.
Biden failed us. He should not have announced he was running again. He didn’t even consult his closest advisors or family before doing so. He RBGd us. (May she rest in peace.)
Dems should’ve had an open convention. Ppl wouldn’t have felt that Kamala was shoved down their throats.
And at least we voted for Harris in the primary. An open convention, whatever means, wasn't in the DNC rules. It would have been chaos. And if my vote had been stolen completely by a forced resignation of both Biden and Harris, I wouldn't have voted for a single Dem on election day.
Pelosi and Democratic leadership failed us by not circling the wagons and instead forcing Biden aside. Although the energy around Kamala was genuinely exciting and I can't say Biden would have done better in November.
Sorry, but Biden, who I thought had a great term, was no longer cognitively fit to lead. His debate performance left the Dems no choice but to put up another candidate.
His debate performance was historically awful. But he literally did everything rhe media asked after that yo demonstrate his cognitive fitness and the coverage remained the same while glossing over Trump's clearer decline.
But Dump wasn’t the president; Biden was. I agree that Dump is also cognitively unfit. I don’t know why we only elect
old white men in this country. A great younger candidate comes along and we reject that person.
And the reason is because they had the privilege of doing so. Marginalized people would suffer but their entitlement says they wouldn’t, so they had the luxury of not voting. They’re no different than MAGA voters.
I’m so fucking sick of people blaming Kamala voters for the current situation, how about some blame for those who couldn’t bother to get their asses off the couch to vote?
The idiots that voted for him are brainwashed, we need to blame the media for them.
WE didn’t fail her; she failed us by conceding so quickly and disappearing. She got the votes, though. Musk used an algorithm to flip enough of them for Trump to “win.”
