Tax The Rich is now the central message moving forward.
And because of Elon and the Oligarchs taking overβ¦.Cap The Rich as well. Earnings over one billion must go to pay for all services like Social Security.
Taxing the rich is insufficient. Taxes can be evaded. They will have plenty of time to move their money to other safe havens.
They have a choice. Give it all away, or have it all taken.
I read an article that referred to the gilded age while it was discussing the murder of the CEO. I do think we are in another gilded age, where some individuals have so much money and power they can buy politicians, and decide policy that further enriches themselves.
Now let's get together and start raiding the homes of billionaires, power brokers, and oligarchs. Five hundred or so people per member of the 0.1% will be sufficient I think. Climb the fences, smash the doors, torch the vehicles, toss the owners and their families into the streets.
Itβs worse than that. I live in Southern California and we have 60,000-80,000 homeless people here. This didnβt exist before the 1980βs when Reagan gutted the safety net on direct racial appeals. Bill Clinton sealed the deal a decade later with his welfare reform legislation.
Americas 600 Billionaires, ALONE, could solve all the problems of the WORLD, , not just America, and STILL BE BILLIONAIRES, but they CHOOSE NOT TO. And THATβs why, they get NO SYMPATHY!!!
Letβs get it over with, already. This is what Merrick Garland was afraid of, and now itβs even worse. Nothing ventured ,nothing gained. I guarantee they are prepared to do WHAT THEY GOTTA DO. We better WTFU!
Unfortunately the OPPRESSED become the oppressors, like the Jacobins did, in MOST CASES IN HISTORY. (Hell, look at Netanyahu) That doesnβt mean we need to turn our DEMOCRACY OVER TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER.
The problem is the billionaire class and their relationships with powerful politicians. We solve such by reshaping the political, legal, and social / economic systems. That requires radical action by the population.
I can already smell the rot of the incoming administration: less food, no housing and denied or delayed health care. As the bard said it: β Something is rotten in (America) Denmarkβ.
The only good I see resulting from the chaos and extreme right wing policies these next few years is getting those who stayed on the sidelines motivated to vote in the midterms. Itβs going to be a rough ride until thenβ¦
Iβm less worried about how successful business people made their money, than those who enter politics and become wealthy off of a public servantβs salaryβ¦.π€π

Stability is precious and an unfortunately delicate balancing act.
"Equality or greed?"
They voted for the latter.
