I mean, the Founders were literally fine with the private ownership of military grade small arms, warships, and artillery, and their writings are chock full of statements about how important it is for all men (as they defined “all men”) to be armed, so I feel like they’ve already commented.
the Founders didn't predict the rapid promotion of disinformation on the Internet, or scammy online storefronts, or AI deepfakes. Should we not have laws on that too?
There’s a difference between scammy storefronts and protected speech. Likewise, a social media platform can regulate what speech is allowed on their site, but government can’t. If deepfakes are used to commit crimes, that’s illegal, but merely creating them isn’t unless you’re violating another law.
Making an AI video of Trump shitting his pants is protected speech. Using AI generated audio to spoof your kid calling to ask for money is wire fraud, and already illegal. Government can’t make @safety.bsky.app ban Jesse Singal for being a transphobic POS, but Bluesky has that right & responsibility
you're forgetting that the laws reflect the will of the people- There's laws restricting scam storefronts on the national/state level because people don't like scam storefronts. Likewise, people don't like their kids getting massacred by automatic weapons. that's one of the most important things the
I don't think this comic hits very hard. I mean the whole crux of the "pro-life" position is the unborn can't speak for themselves; their words not mine. And there are outspoken representatives from the military and the disabled the GOP just ignores, not like those groups can't talk.

Oh, hot damn; the anti-Trump cartoonists have crawled out of hibernation. Where were they while Biden was immiserating the working class, laying waste to Gaza & trying to provoke WW3? Cutting the Dems a free pass, of course. Like "anti-Trump" is SUCH a bold-ass, revolutionary stance.
You think you're smart but Gaza is the only right thing but I'm wondering if the right even cares about that from what the leaders say they Love groveling to the Zionist
Yeah, the Democrats and Republicans are in full unison when it comes to Israel. It’s good to criticize any president for that but it’s not scoring points for the other team.
Absolutely true, especially that none of the founding fathers could be reached for comment. I suspect many of them who voted for "right to bear arms" in a well-regulated mititra would have been anythng but appalled and shocked that that clause has been used to allow people to carry AR15's in public
MAGA: "I speak for the unborn." To later just vote for Trump who dropped his pro-life positions against abortion (one of his very few good major political stances) and be fans of RFK who supports abortion without limits (as if it wasn't bad enough).

We all saw how "pro-life" they were during COVID when they refused to honor protocols that would actually save lives.
