Right? I could last four years but when this term is over that shit will really hit the fan , he didnβt want to leave last time remember??? Just imagine whatβs coming.
Just so everyone is clear, the younger generations have not read this book, college professors interviewed say most have never read a book and don't have the skills necessary to read a book.
That is how you end a democracy.
I did read that growing up. Now especially in the state I live, the book is banned in a lot of schools and areas. I grew up, up north during a time and in a place( looking back) that was civilized. Civilized in terms of attitude, acceptance and actually rejecting hateβ¦not embracing it
I admit that I was surprised about the passage. However, I was 12. In looking back, it was just normal thoughts that she wrote expecting privacy, and in some ways, it emphasized the tragedy as she would never experience a mature romantic relationship among many other things.
I also read it for the first time at 12 yrs old. When you grow up in a normal way you just read what fits with your age and ignore the rest. When I was 15 we read it for the school book list. Thatβs when I found the passage. But we talked about suppression, betrayal, cruelty in class.

This is the part that scares the "living daylights" out of me. There's a PROGRESSION here, people. A progression, and they're not even trying to hide it! #Boycott and #RESIST. #Protest and #MARCH!
Thatβs whatβs very frustrating. Lot of people are like that if we just gotta wait it out and follow the rules. They forget the people that hid, Ann Frank broke the law. The ones that took them to the camps were following the law.
There are people I went to school with who were in the same class as me when we read this book and learned about the Holocaust, and I know for a fact they still voted red. It makes me wonder if they paid any attention at all.
Democrats have admitted to what we once were, it's time for Republicans to admit what they are now, the parties have done a complete role reversal. Right down to Republicans political domination of the former Democrat slave states. They defend confederate "culture and heritage" now.
Ppl getting their news from the old sources arenβt seeing/hearing what ppl are getting through blsky/tiktok/substackβ¦ In the end itβs all ignorance #FAAFO
well said!
Please Americans get out there and protest and get louder and louder! Flood the voice mails, e-mails and mail boxes of ALL Congress Members.
Did you see the footage of local residents coming to chase them away? They took their flags and burned them, slashed their tires. The cops of course protected them.
There is a difference between "riding it out" and "wait and see". Trump won. The republicans won. Short of the 2nd amendment option, there isn't much we can do. And that is only a viable if there is overwhelming support, which there is not. So, wait and see for the opportunity to strike for now.

There is no riding out, no complying your way through fascism.
I have lived this before: "don't worry, this will pass, it's not so serious, those things don't happen here, Y or Z or "whatever" is going to save us, "whoever" isn't going to allow this, etcΓ©tera.
That was Germany, Checoslovaquia, Yugoslavia, Brasil, Chile, Venezuela, etc.
