I used to love the platoon system. It did however make things a little complex when the minimum you could take to fill a standard force org chart was 25 dudes in a platoon and an armoured fist squad.

I remember seeing this codex at my lgs and immediately being intrigued. At that time I was extremely unfamiliar with 40k and thought the Space Marines were the only human faction, and this codex kinda blew my mind

I want you to know how much that photo of your Guard is burned into my mind.

It's one of the first army photos I saw so, it's kind of the yardstick by which I judge other full army shots by!

Thank you, I think I was the first person to raise an entire regiment, even if it was at the smaller end of the TOC. It was one of those projects that just grew, and grew. I still remember the face of the Studio photographer when I brought the 95th in... It was his biggest ever army shoot 👍
