Liberal democracy is good for business. If we were still a liberal democracy, Congress would not be beholden to a Mad King and have shut down this trade war nonsense before it got off the ground. We won't fix our economic problems until we address our democracy problems 1/x

america isn't going to give up its president for a prime minister.
But it is possible for Congress, state legislatures, and city councils.
As to the Presidency, I'd like to see its power reduced by a large fraction, and for Congress to take up the slack.
