Whenever I look up side shave / undercuts, I only see the type where just the bottom few inches are shaved, never as high as mine and never shaved around the back either... I mostly shave my own head, but I'd be down to get a design next time I have a professional do it! I've done it before and it grew back REALLY fast but it's still very cool while it lasts

I feel that. Generally, when I get line work like this, I gotta go back every 3 weeks or so for the upkeep. Although, I have a straight razor and hair trimmer that I can do some maintenance, myself.

I’ll ride on a particular design for about 12 weeks, before ultimately phasing it out.

Would that count as a mullet? I've never really known the proper terms for some hairstyles, but some of the characteristics you describe remind me of those for a mullet. Also, excellent hair by the way👍
