Yes, it's absurd and it's the way the system was designed.. To protect the rich and powerful. Here's the kicker though, it's not peculiar to the US. Every country in the world protects its rich and powerful a bit more than the average citizen. The class divide is massive, clear and present.
Our childhood poverty & disease rates are off the charts, too. ImThe evidence seems to indicate that unrestrained #capitalism and monied politics is not great for anyone or thing except the exploiters. The last thing they are is job creators. All they do is destroy.
They had a virtual army of law enforcement cowering in the hallways while one demented MF held them at bay with the sound of a military style sporting rifle slaughtering innocent children in Uvaldi Texas.
So fortifying the schools didn’t work in that instance nor did it work in Parkland Floridastan
