Yeah for me it was an oasis in a desert of bleh.

I mean Generations and Forces were good, but they kinda aged poorly and I never enjoyed the boost2win playstyle.

I think I liked it when I did my playthrough. although I treated it more like a C-list Mario game than a Sonic game.

It's not what I want out of Mario and it's definitely not what I want out of Sonic, but you can do way worse.

Oh, and the soundtrack's pretty underrated. Also, I think Zavok's cool.

I've never played the Wii U version but I can remember disliking the 3DS version. Maybe I'll pick up the console release and find out which is better?
As long as it doesn't have those overly long puzzle levels from the handheld version!

I'm guessing you played the console version. The 3DS version was not good. I couldn't even get past the snow level with the girl. This is why it's the worst in both versions. I have frequently said that that girl character & her stage can blow me. ...I did not like it, is what I'm saying. Ha

I can’t speak for the console/PC version, but I had a fine enough time with the 3DS version. Except for the special stages! Those were awful. Everything else was fine enough.

Yeah, this is the one game I enjoyed being Sonic. I think "perfect" for me is having Tails Amy and Knuckles, but in that hypothetical game I'd still play as Sonic cuz the parkour is so fun!

I played it for the first time in the last year or two after hearing nothing but horrible things and I was completely stunned by how much of a good time I had with it! It's far from my favorite in the series, but a great experiment and far less clunky than I imagined.

It was honestly so wholesome seeing your excitement for some of the levels and concepts throughout the SGB LP, considering it’s a pretty divisive Sonic game (which saying that out loud is actually most Sonic games I feel) Happy to hear you enjoyed your time with Lost World! ^^

I think the game would have been better if you had a manual parkour button and auto running like the other Sonic games. If someone made a mod like that, I'd probably buy the game on Steam again.

It was fun, my biggest issue was the timing of it after coming off the boost trilogy it followed it felt like a hard left turn.
