Our texture is similar 😊 I bend over, comb fistfuls of clear gel downward into wet hair, let dry w/o touching. Once dry, break the cast on the gel by scrunching the curls while your hair is flipped downward. And then i just do not brush it again until the next wash day 😅
Do you sleep with a bonnet on? Especially a real silk satin bonnet? It has changed my frizz life deeply. I let my hair dry in the bonnet whenever possible and when I can I have the most perfect frizz free curls...
For me I use a wide tooth comb and leave in conditioner while my hair is still soaked in the shower, then I squeeze some of the excess water out (but no towel!), then finger comb and scrunch mousse through my hair, before finishing off with gel. It's such a workout!
