Just finished a rewatch of Boardwalk Empire, probably one of my favorite HBO series. Since it ended Ive tried other shows set in the era, e.g. Peaky Blinders and Babylon Berlin. I just can't get into them.
I just dont find British accents convincing as gangsters. Villains, yes. Gangsters, no.
