The absolute irony of this was that I was told,

The number of times I've seen: "we must have the citizenry suffer so that they never elect another bad orange guy" is ridiculous. How do you sit with yourself, being a temporary ally only to the point that you disagree, then you become outwardly hostile to any and all minorities. It's disgusting.
