Spin the Black Circle. most of the record sounded like Phish trying to be grunge (or whatever they thought grunge was) and it felt like they were trying to record before the songs were actually written, almost like running off-balance, you know that whole running leaning forward thing
[80βs cassette version]: A friend in high school gave Black Flag a whirl to learn what hardcore/punk was all about. She spun the arrow with her purchase and chose Family Man, which is half brooding Rollins spoken word and half jazz odyssey instrumental.
