My friend. This man tried to mandate that my children watch his insane Trump prayer/job interview video during school hours. I do not understand why my Attorney General is content to merely publish strongly worded condemnations. Our children are being denied an education and we get strong letters.

I am also a Christian and a member of an evangelical congregation. We cannot use government and force our faith onto these kids. We must respect a parents religious liberty. Gov employees can’t teach my kids scripture!

I spent time in Okla City schools that were unheated prefab huts. Kids sitting in ragged parkas shivering until lunch. The money should be spent protecting their bodies. Their souls are not a public policy target.

non-denominational Trump Bible, everyone can read into it what they want without being bothered by deeper eschatological concerns. In the Trump Bible, the eleventh commandment is "Thou shalt keep it shallow", so... yes.

Grr. I’m an Oklahoma attorney and parent of two in a rural public school district. By law, Bibles are kept in every school library in the state. Teachers are free and encouraged to use the Bible and other world religious texts as appropriate in lessons. All of this is waste for nothing.

The r/oklahoma subreddit has some official statements from schools that have refused. I've yet to see a school say they're showing it.
The smaller districts waited for the bigger ones to refuse the Bible mandate before they said anything. They're not waiting this time.
