I agree but I also think we need more than just the left-leaning organizations. We need unity around workers rights, because there are people who are not left leaning who would strike given what's happening in this country.

I agree 100%. Unity around women’s rights might draw in more conservative women too. Most don’t support arresting women for getting abortions even if they don’t like the idea of abortions.

I agree. I take the approach of my science teaching daughter who has two main posters in her classroom.
1. All are welcome here
2. Hate has no place here.

Specifically they talk about focusing on "choke points" in key industries to use the strike as a tool. Also in that scenario teachers, truckers, farmers could collect and guarantee their members names in a more trusted way and report up to the general strike to aid in anonymity for their members

Use local 4h groups, church groups with willing members, student unions, teacher unions, local members of arts communities, food banks, companies with resource groups,

For example I don't know who the keeper or manager of the general strike website is, transparency of a face, name, owner of the site would add trust but also make you a target, so I guess I get the need to be vague, but then you need ways to get specific through trusted orgs.

With a solid event date I think you could use a service like eventbrite to collect interest? I’ve never organized a 11 million person event before. You’d get a count and I think you can say sign up is private?

That is understandable, but I think that we all have to come to the realization that soon we may have no rights left. I would rather have my name in that database than to be forced to work a job under a dictatorship. Or worse happening to me and those I love.

You can use a burner email that you can access and a pseudonym if you want the anonymity. Same for joining any of the partner organizations or the discord. You can even use 123456789 on the phone number.

The point is to get an accurate count of commits and a way to reach them, the minutiae can wait

80 MILLION -- that's my number. Things got out of control way too fast. Even the majority of Trump's own voters aren't into hurting Canada, Greenland, Panama, Mexico, or any other peaceful country.
