The demands are not finalized! What is on the website are just broad ideas. When we get closer to the numbers we need, we will narrow down the demands and make them specific and actionable.

In the FAQ on the website it says that retirees can sign in solidarity, but adding info to on how they can support the strike through boycotts and mutual aid and such is a great idea!

I have not signed, not because I don't want to, but because I am not unionized and have no job protections. If someone can explain how this works for this unprotected demographic of workers (which is the majority, really), I would be happy to sign, but I CANNOT risk my job. Pls explain like I'm 10.

This is partly why I think you're struggling to find signers. Many people don't think they can if they're not unionized, and your website fails to adequately explain things for non-unionized people. I have also asked on your posts b4 and gotten only "look on the website" back. It's frustrating.

Call and write your Representatives. You don't have to like them to call. Aides keep tallys of opinions.

A big part of what we want to do on a local level is build/expand mutual aid networks to support people during the strike! I don’t think that’s explained well on the website, we’ll work on it.
