I sometimes endure them and make a cup of coffee or tea for those favourite YouTubers of mine as I was told it helps their YouTube income.
Is that right?
All I'm happy about is that YouTube doesn't know me at all. Mens' electric shavers, cars, pensions, etc. so happy with that!❤️
Fun fact for anyone watching primarily on a computer/laptop... You just need a good pop up blocker and a private tab to have zero ads for zero dollars.
Yes ... But ..
I usually use an ad blocker except there are two reasons to click on an ad.
1. To support a YouTuber you really like ( costs you nothing,)
2. To send a bill to any company you dislike (sends them a bill). Also do this on search. Click on ads of companies you hate. They pay per click.
I clicked a video recently on YT and was told I needed to become a 'channel member' and pay $4.99 per month if I wanted to see the video. This was just a regular video from an amateur DIYer. A first for me, and frankly, I'd rather watch ads.
Be careful. Did you see the TV documentary of what cats do when let out. They have territories they visit but still have a home to go to.
That's a big shock finding your cat neutered when it arrives home again!😉
Imagine being the CEO of some company, having just green lit a 5-10m ad package and then finding out you're actively paying to hurt your brand identity because every single person seeing your ads notices your company's need for attention stands in between them and their chosen entertainment.

Don't tell them all our secrets
They will just mutate their agendas like cockroaches so that we can't skip them
And they may even just remove the skip ad button
