If you *really* don't need a car then sell it (it's just losing value & the gas is going bad).
There's no benefit in waiting to install the battery until it's urgent.

Hopefully our immune systems are all good with this so we can prepare for the NEXT pandemic, which might be soonish? It'd be fitting, all things considered.
I am even affable enough that I'll engage in friendly small talk with strangers or offer to help them (ex: get things from shelves).
But I simply prefer to be by myself, or with my partner, either at home or out in nature.
This will sound demeaning to some, but I feel like I grew out of the "hang out/have friends" phase.
