Food nerd post of the day: Trying my hand at French cooking tonight. This lentil salad with a burgundy style vinaigrette and lardon pairs super amazingly with a Ken Wright 2022 Pinot.

How did it turn out? The chef (a.k.a. me) needs to improve upon her skills, but there was a promise of awesomeness somewhere in that mess of lentils. I’m going to keep on cooking and adventuring through these here French cookbooks.
