My supervisor was convinced I was poisoned and since no one could identify the species, it was a reasonable concern... except I knew I looked pale cause we'd been at sea for weeks with terrible food
They put the animal in a ziplock bag in the freezer, in case they needed to investigate my potential poisoning further. Days later a student Chilean student said she recognized it

We didn't have internet access at sea, so I never did find out. I asked the Curator of Invertebrates at the ROM and he looked stunned and said, "What!?" at my description, so I really don't know
