No. Hunter Biden was CONVICTED of 3 felonies: unlawfully possessing a gun as a drug user, lying on a federal form when he bought the gun, and making a false statement about the information required to be collected by a federally licensed gun dealer.

You don’t have it straight: The investigation of Hunter Biden began in 2018, long before Garland became AG, and the indictment was brought by the US Attorney in Delaware, a Trump appointee. For Garland to block the investigation would have been a scandal in its own right.
