I love love love this art. As a kid I always felt like your art for cave story was the definitive version of what it would look like for me. Always kinda bummed the blade was never part of it, but, i'd guess that's because of spoilers and all

The original idea was to have even less equipment. Initially the illustration featured just the Polar Star. I later received an update to add the jetpack and rocket launcher, but keep the composition as is.
