Some intel: I've talked to journalists and folks on the Hill about this. Last night after OMB's action, some Senate Dems tried to unify the caucus to vote against Duffy. Schumer, among others, opposed it, and it flopped.

The current Dem leadership strategy is to use strong language but not do shit.

It sure as fuck isn't! I can't think of a word more charitable than calling it a "surrender." I decided to deregister as a Democrat today because of these months-upon-months of leadership failures. It shouldn't have taken so long; shame on me.

you know what it is though? typical elected democrat behavior that has not evolved since 1998. this is why democrats are losing. elected leadership is at least 2 generations behind modern times.
