Utterly heartbreaking to hear the beautiful people of my hometown say that the word that summarises Britain at the minute is ‘Rubbish’ and that we are the laughing stock of the world.
And, with the predictable and predatory instinct of a vulture, Farage is circling.

But as Farage constantly proves, it's easy to talk the country down, but a lot harder to actually come up with concrete plans to make it better.
Very easy to destroy this rising threat...
Offer them the prospect of rejoining the EU & the opportunity to live, work study all over the continent vs Farage (being stuck in the UK for infinity.)
Should be a no brainer for Labour.
I mean, it's been better, but it's disingenuous to suggest things are the worst they've ever been here.
We *would* be the laughing stock of the world with an utter incompetent like Farage - or any other Reform dolt - in charge.
Farage is a joke, he and his ministers ( all four of them) are just opportunists with foghorns..
He'll say anything for a popular sound bite. All he's ever done is enrich himself and damage the country.
The man is a full time grifter.
There is an open goal here, everyone is fully aware life has gotten much worse since Brexit...can't help but think, even if right leaning voters don't feel they can say it out loud, the prospect of rejoining would cause a wave in the voting booths
Sadly, the inactivity of this strategy is frustrating both their traditional voters, and any they borrowed just to get the Tories out at the last election.
Some vision would be great.
He needs to be bold.
