Preservation is an ongoing battle against time, carried out by the gaming community - at least, that’s my opinion. Sorry if I didn’t make that clear. My first tweets sound dorky because I was angry.

You don’t need these games to be commercially available to play them - especially on PC, of all things. Availability is important when you only have a Switch or PlayStation, sure. But not on PC, for crying out loud. On PC, you can download the ISO, use the most accurate emulator, and get the
best CRT shader! You can take the money for these games, buy a used PS2 or PS3 controller, get an adapter, and get those pressure-sensitive buttons working. You can have the most majestic time-capsule-esque gaming preservation experience for the lowest possible price if you’re on PC.
You don’t need bad ports of old games if you’re on PC. Repeat after me: PC is the best platform because you don’t need these shitty ports anymore - you can emulate the original versions on the best emulators available. You are royalty among us - your features are truly magnificent.
