Sadly most don't 'get' things like Zack's Arctic ice (canary in the gold mine) studies.
The heat sinks of the world are the oceans, & changes therein are affecting the entire dynamism & consequential effects of MET changes globally.

I hate to be the one to say such short term observances. But, this Nov has been a lot milder in Ontario, Canada than I am used to. The temperatures have only dipped below freezing a couple times in the early morning hours. You can definitely see change. The seasons are by far longer, and warmer

I think we should talk more about CO2 concentrations, which scares me more than warming.
Most people probably don't get alarmed at their environment being 1 degree warmer, but the thought of constantly breathing in high % CO2 air scares me.

Surprising a weather broadcaster would dare utter something with such broad context. Good for them. Local weather broadcasts should have defied prohibitions on connecting weather to climate several decades ago. That's one place where people might have been reached. But nope, they kept silent.
