It frustrates me that so many political types fixate on UBI, but largely ignore the urgent immiserating horror of the #DWP #sanctions regime. We should focus on giving cash to those who *need it*, without the absurd hoops they’re made to jump thru (35 hrs a week doing job applications, FFS!).
