You've been *through* it...can't imagine the pain & recovery period but glad you're able to retain mobility. The leg numbness, is it like neuropathy that could self-resolve? Our bodies are like mysterious chemistry sets & the weirdest things can happen. (FWIW manual transmission is better anyway 😉)
The numbness is on the skin surface, a constant freezing/tingling sensation. And I cannot feel the position of my legs so I need to watch my legs as I walk. Or risk tripping especially on uneven surfaces.
And with still operating a clutch. I started at 13y.o. on this. Soo🤔 All muscle memory
Thanks for sharing that.🫂 By the way you describe it, the closest thing I can imagine it like is having both legs + feet fall asleep at once, only waaay more challenging.
I hope your condition improves and you gain sensation again. 🖤
first broken neck was @21yo, the fatality investigation (My fatality investigation in fact) found that my master brake cylinder was failing and was likely responsible for my car not being able to stop, and going over a cliff on a twisty hillside road

Doesn’t sound too regular..
(I think you forgot this guy)
To the amazement of everyone (especially doctors)... I still walk unassisted.
I cannot feel my legs and have terrible balance. But I can drive a manual shift, and limp around zombie like.
