I grew up in a Sundown town in south Texas. My high school was forced to integrate in 1984 but they will never go back because now they win more football games.

This website is essentially the same function as the green book. It relies on historical & user submitted (& then verified) info. It’s definitely not comprehensive— I just submitted rural MA towns I know of— but it may be useful.

The book "Sundown Towns" by James Loewen should be required reading. It explains so much about post-reconstruction Black history that you won't learn in public school.
