I am torn between deep sadness and embarrassment that I didn't know who Gertrude Elion was until 10 minutes ago. Elion is a nobel-prize winning biochemist/pharmacologist who developed amazing drugs (anti-virals; anti-cancers) to benefit humanity. Thank you Elion for your contributions!
