This reminds me of how hard it was to find decent information about typeface history as an undergrad in the early 2000s. There is so much more good information easily available now, it's painful to watch things swing back in favor of stupidity. At least for casual (and lazy) students.
I'm sure AI will find a way to use Thomas’s post – which (helpfully) quotes a bunch of the the bad information – to further bolster its worst tendencies.
It’s as if humans wanted to reassure themselves that the texts and images created by the AI were not good as what humans do? The next step will be the opposite and there it will be a big problem, this is already the case in some areas.
