I'm going to be in LA later this week and my Friday plans with my fave cousin fell through (because she caught COVID boo). What should I now do with my one and precious Friday off in Lost Angeles?

now is the time to find out if you know anyone in Universal to get your regular pass upgraded. That happened to me at Halloween Horror nights and it was great for skipping lines (but bad because we went from haunted house to haunted tram to haunted house without any to time to reset heart rate)

*cracks knuckles* okay so the short answer is yes, until Super Mario Land reaches capacity. However, it often reaches capacity, so it's good to have a backup plan.

Your best bet is to go first thing in the morning and head right there. HOWEVER. Everyone does that. So there are two more options:

1. You can get a Universal Express pass which is pricey, but allows you access once per day to the land even if it's full.

2. Add on a Super Nintendo Early Access pass, which means you get to go there one hour before the park opens. It starts at $20, so definitely the more afforable option.

I’ve lived in LA for almost fifteen years now and I’ve never been to Universal Studios (aside from Citywalk) or Disneyland or even Six Flags or whatever.

I live pretty far away from my friends in the city and it doesn’t sound fun and might be a little weird going solo

One time I went to Disneyland Paris with family and we decided to split up and do our own thing. Riding the rides as a single rider just felt…not the same.

Oh, riding rides solo is clutch. You can skip the lines. And I travel and do a lot of things solo. I don’t mind it!
