I worked w a therapist for over a year & eventually we agreed my core issues were physical/hormonal. While she appreciated my money we weren’t going to make changes in my perimenopause symptoms w talk therapy. She was also a “woman of a certain” age & encouraged me to find a menopause dr.

Thanks for sharing that! As a therapist, when I notice a client is in the perimenopausal age range, I always recommend involving a doctor early on to rule out any medical causes for symptoms. It's key to address both the physical and emotional aspects of health.

Funny, my GP referred me to the therapist & it was the therapist who said to find an alternative to the GP. Haha. Anyways it was the best decision I made.
