FA cup final replay Manchester United v Crystal Palace taken out of school to attend. Lee Martin scored and I fell off the back of my seat and missed the celebrations
1998 - Charlton 4-4 Sunderland (Charlton won 7-6 on penalties). I was absolutely devastated but looking back it was a privilege to have witnessed arguably the greatest playoff match in English football history #safc
Kidderminster Harriers v Burton Albion in the 1987 FA Trophy. A very 0-0 draw!! £2 to stand.
Harriers were also the first team I saw at the "new" Wembley again in the Trophy. First competitive game at the new stadium. They lost.
I don't have a good track record with supporting teams at Wembley!
Bolton vs Liverpool in the 1995 League Cup final. Steve McManaman ran Scott Green ragged before Alan Thompson scored a rather good goal to make things interesting in a 2-1 Bolton defeat.
England v Wales schoolboy International in 1976. From memory I think Clive Allen & Mike Fillery played that day. Breathtaking being 10 years old and in a crowd of 50k.
England 0-1 Germany, on a rainy September night in 1991. Think it was the first time we played them post-unification. I was miserable because I’d been relegated down a set at school, and a trip to the football made me… even more miserable.

Middlesbrough v Chelsea in the ZDS Cup Final (Zenith Data Systems Cup) 1990.
Chelsea won the match 1–0, with a goal from Tony Dorigo.
I’ve seen all 5 Middlesbrough’s Wembley appearances. At both New & Old Wembley. It’s a stadium we’ve never won at 🤦♂️
