I've been reading through Against the Darkmaster, and while I was originally under the impression it was a d20 type system, it's actually a toned version of Rolemaster. There's probably only five or ten pages of crit tables.

Critical hit tables are so much fun until they happen to you. I've never had a random table describe my character's death with such grizzly detail.
