Yes, Hyundai for the win.

“Hyundai just notched its fifth straight record sales month in the US, driven by hot new EVs like the 2025 IONIQ 5. Last month was its best February in the US so far, but Hyundai says even more growth is coming.”

Cuz it's coming.
(Not that I'm advocating for it.)
Also, I had a Hyundai waaaaay back in ‘88. Loved that little red go machine!
Only mechanical failure was the turbo at 26k, covered by warranty. Replacement going strong for 124k miles. All electrics work. No seat tears or anything.
Reliable and still a fun little hatch.
Like all cheap cars it’s gets a higher number of owners w/o the social resources to maintain regular oil changes.
It will yeet it’s guts onto the ground in protest if the oil vibes are off.
Bullet proof with regular changes
Best decision ever!!
You could be funding the enemy.
Thank you for keeping us in the know, Nancy.
Using our 💰 as real world votes is good.
Replacement parts from overseas for repairs was a post COVID shipping problem. A logistical problem that tariffs might make even more difficult. More disruption from 🍊.
New choices to make.
But I guess we’ll take it because it increases profits. 🥴
Either way:

went with a Solterra instead, since we already have a Forester and a old WRX.
Then I found out Subaru is a big advertiser on Fox. So... Hyundai please save me an Ioniq in about 2.5 years when my lease is up!

Unless a CEO can demonstrate profitability on a plan, the board and shareholders can overthrow them. It makes positive changes nearly impossible at times.
Honda and Hyundai committed, but Hyundai funded Trumps campaign.
Toyota, Tesla, Nissan, GM, Ford, dismantled DEI.
well, assuming my husband doesn't lose his Federal job and I don't lose my social security
They need to be standing by DEI policies because it's the right thing to do. Doing it for sales means they will undo it as soon as buying trends reverse.
That's part of the reason why I don't think buying trends will reverse. I don't think it's a trend. I think they stumbled on truth.
- When you have marketed to all the white people, what do you do then?
- How will you know how to market to non-whites if you don’t have any in your organization?
- And why should they buy from you?
Tesla; We are losing our as*ses!
Why?
Crime does not pay?
I drove a Hyundai for 13 years, 260k km.
The company is obviously as reliable as their vehicles.
I may have to revisit Hyundai
I think there was a huge difference in quality between the 90s Hyundai and the later model. My uncle had a Pony and it wasn't the greatest car.
My god, the naïveté is astounding.
