Admittedly I was thinking of FF7 when making the model! (the way FF7 used lots of plain vertex color gradients and only a handful of textures on characters)

That's really cool. Does it do like super pixelated thing when animated like the OG PlayStation did because the polygons couldn't conform to decimals?

A bit! The built-in model rendering functions do the whole wobbly quantized thing - you can ofc circumvent that and do the math yourself in JS and avoid that since it's all doubles, if you want 😅 (vertices are still snapped to nearest pixel boundaries, but usually that's not super noticeable)
