So true. My neck pain has been screaming today. Every moment I've been doing what I can to address it, and even then it's just tolerable enough that I can listen to an audiobook on and off for a distraction
People need to stop judging what they see of us often coated in societies bias
Some ppl don't understand or empathise until it is them struggling, its a bit crazy?I personally face the struggle of invisible disability. I push myself too much to try prove myself all because I "look okay" and resting will look "lazy" to others. But society has conditioned us to think that way :(
I broke my ankle clean in three places last year. My understanding and compassion for the elderly and disabled has grown immensely. I am blessed to have a healing path and so life in general has gotten easier. That isn't true for everyone ❤️. Keep strong 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽.
The reality is that poor and/or disabled people are some of the most resourceful, empathetic, and resilient people out there because they have to be. 🫶
I know, because I'm one of them.

I try to remember how lucky I am and that, but for fortune, I could be in very different circumstances.
