I’ve recently learned people don’t like it when you reply with just an emoji. Like just a laugh emoji. But….y’all I get SO MANY REPLIES. And I don’t wanna ignore people when they make me laugh or say something nice. But do you know how many spoons it takes to craft a reply to every single person!? 😫

1. Emojis;
2. Memes they then have to explain;
3. Acronyms they then have to explain;
4. Words which don’t mean what I mean when I use them.
This leads to a nice lot of actual conversation - fine by me!
Also means I’m probably more up on teen slang than when I was a teen…
Also expression of feelings via shoulder angle. Surprisingly emotive from the back…
Teens are just sweet! (And that would have earned me an eye roll or exasperated shoulder if said out loud!)
You won’t see that conversation on Jeremy vine.
