UPS lost a very expensive package of mine for a few days. Marked it as delivered when it wasn't and we were basically told we just to wait and hope it popped up. It eventually did, but that was a nerve wracking few days.
I regularly get "Your package is arriving today!" then check the tracking and it's in a warehouse 400 miles away. Or once 2000 miles. It shouldn't be hard for a basic computer to understand that's at least a day out!
I have a package that's in transit and depending on the tracking source that I use (both of them within the broader USPS system) my package is scheduled to arrive either tomorrow or yesterday

It was delivered at 11:45pm.
At that point just send the driver home. I don't want that man driving exhausted and overworked at that time of night!
