Europe, Canada and Mexico need to realize that the only way they avoid facing a full blown Fascist America is by showing the unity to tell Trump to pound sand and allow his tariffs to do as much economic damage to the US as possible.

The problem is that China and Russia will benefit from a weak America. The entire world is going to suffer. I hope that there's a very hot place reserved for Trump, his MAGAts, the GOP and the oligarchs that brought him to power.
Given Trump's obvious admiration for Putin and his approach to authoritarian politics, it seems that he is searching for a way to shift the US into an axis where it is aligned with Russia rather than Europe. Tough sell given the GOP's long draconian stance towards Russia.
It's a pretty straightforward strategic game - if the US is going to attack everyone, then everyone else needs to re-arrange their trade systems to rely on each other and just cut the US largely out of the equation.
Trump of course will try to pit them against each other instead.
Trump's only allies are himself and the people who kiss his feet (until they stop kissing his feet). He is so shallow, he accepts only 100% loyalty 100% of the time.
Trump has never viewed Europe as an ally. His worldview is much more in line with Putins. Once he has a strong enough grip on power he'll likely discard NATO.
Say bye bye to your military bases, military intelligence and any sort of hope of having allies when you need them in the future. If you cant understand how this is harming the US I dont know what to say.

To what end?
They're protectorates.
We are not saving them from the Islamic invasion or the Ukraine debacle.
Ask yourself this: Would Putin be more destructive to America if he were in the Oval Office?
