I've been playing this for the past few nights and it's a lot of fun. I dig the "zen" of just wandering around mining and having to manage the resources a bit. Really dig the style...nicely put together and feels wonderful. The UI in the base took a bit to get exactly but I know the struggle.

New to PICO-8 and I randomly bumped into your game. Love the style and sense of exploration. Also a great cycle of voyages out to find resources and then upgrade. I don't know if there is a next "wrinkle" in the gameplay but by the time I was breaking down the skulls I was looking for it. Great job!

Oh this was neat! Cool, chill progression that def still leads to close calls with oxygen management.
Wish there was a bit more of an ending but ah well.

How is your RGB30? I moved mine to ArkOS and although there are fewer battery drain issues when the thing is off, they are still present to some degree.

I also use ArkOS and like it a lot. I power it down properly every time with R3 + Power. Battery seems fine that way. I improved the d-pad with some tape and shoulder buttons with foam. I'm super happy with it. Especially for Pico-8 games!

I do a full shutdown every time too. But the thing is still usually stone dead after a few weeks. Seems to be a lot of variety in these things. (I’m seeing online people recommending Rocknix over ArkOS for newer units. Maybe it’s just luck/random!)

FWIW, I think it’s great for Pico-8 too.
