The thing about chamberlain is that he knew Britain wasn’t ready for the fight. His appeasement gave them time to rearm. I don’t know *what* these people are doing. I don’t understand abandoning our alliances, institutions, dismantling our government, our economy, the rule of law. It’s a coup.

Can we clear this up once and for all? Chamberlain knew that war with Germany was inevitable, but that England was not only unable to save Czechoslovakia then, but also unready to defend itself. Thus, Chamberlain heeded General Ismay's memo, built Spitfires for six months, and THEN declared war.

It is a deep historical tragedy that all the people who would have just ridden a motorcycle to Berlin, fought their way through Hitler's guards, and knocked him out cold with a sweet roundhouse kick were all born long after 1945.

None of the three have ever even heard the name Neville Chamberlain. It should read "Adolf Hitler was unjustly denied the Nobel Peace Prize." That name they know and admire, or in Rubio's case, look uncomfortable but remain silent while he's praised.
