Whether it's the Navajo code talkers helping to defeat the Nazis or it's Nazis removing all mention of the Navajo code talkers from the US military's website, the conflict between Nazis and Navajo code talkers has continued for over 80 years.

Diversity! It's one of those languages that no one speaks, like DJT spoke about. Which made it an uncrackable code, because they were patriots. In a time of war.
Oh come on, now you're calling them Nazis just because they're consolidating power in their Führer figure, playing hype-man for the original Hitler, doing Sieg Heil salutes, vilifying convenient minorities, and dismantling all democratic institutions they can get their hands on?
It's interesting how the diverse, equitable, and inclusive United States won a war against an army of homogeneous Übermenschen. I'd ask Pete Hegseth how that happened, except that he does not even know "Enola Gay" is the name of a B-29 bomber.
Look, it's not that I don't share your values but let's call a spade a spade. The US armed forces in WW2 were segregated - just one of many ways in which the US failed to be the model of diversity and inclusion - and Nazis had plenty of "untermenschen" fighting among their ranks. History is messy.
As English is now the official language it follows that ALL military communications from now on will be in plain English (or Russian). No more of this woke Navajo nonsense!

This is disgusting but look at the bright side. When Trump is impeached we can remove any and all references of the orange turd from the government websites and internet!
I don’t have issue with the historical inaccuracy, but with the NYTism of it all. The Times would never call the current administration Nazis, they’d say “officials who some observers claim have adopted unfortunate historical symbolism” or something like that.
No, I’m not going to sweat harmless historical inaccuracy for the sake of a joke on a satirical account. There are much more important things to worry about, like legacy media sanewashing monsters (which is the basis of the satire in the first place).
#HistoricalInaccuracy, whether #Misinformation (incorrect info shared sincerely then later corrected), #Disinformation (the absence of fact,) or #Malinformation (removing fact from proper context & manipulating it to harm a target) is never harmless.
Civil War never ended; how the Rebels have taken DC. But let's not get up in arms about the President trying to gut the amendment that gave citizenship to freed slaves and their descendants.

We, apparently, have decided not to learn a damn thing.

The context of all information always matters.
Germany wasn't involved.
